Pantry moths and weevils…
A couple of scary words for most dedicated cooks and chefs…Many produces are already contaminated with eggs before you even open them…Lucky enough, I was listening to Radio National at the right time the right day ( a week or two ago), and heard the most simple and chemical-free solution ever. A dry bay leaf every 60 cm in your pantry. Apparently the chemical released by the leaf disturb the reproduction cycle of the moth. Make sure you check every container, bags of rice, pasta, flour,… first though.
