Cooking for your friends

Until very recently, I couldn’t watch more than a couple of minutes of any reality TV cooking show… I am not sure if my French chef ego has mellowed, but I have to admit enjoying watching the new “My Kitchen Rules”….As a professional chef, this is very hard and embarrassing to admit, trust me…! But, as a personal chef, cooking or teaching most of the time in unknown kitchens, it is fascinating and extremely educational.  Although you can learn a lot from the judges’ comments ( yes, you got it, especially the French one), they can’t possibly cover all the issues in such a short period of time.

I believe I am in a position to share my knowledge and experience with those of you who enjoy cooking for friends, and who sometimes wish they knew more..! I have identify a few recurrent issues and will try to throw the light upon them very soon.
