Private Chef was born in Brisbane in 2009 from the desire to step away from the restaurant industry but not from my customers. While challenging at the beginnings (no back up possible from the team or a full cold room, unfamiliar kitchens), I love the opportunities it offers to interact with my customers.
I trained in France, finished my apprenticeship at “La Ville Blanche” in Lannion (1 Michelin Star) in 1998. It was hard work, but I am so grateful (merci Chef) for all I learned there, they set the professional standards and ethics in me. After that, I worked in many restaurants during my time in France, including “Le Chabichou” (2 Stars), ” Chez Jean-Pierre Crouzil” (2 Stars), “Le Relais D’Auteuil” (2 Stars), “L’Alexandrin” (1 Star).
I moved to Darwin in 2004, and then to Brisbane in 2007. My family and I now call Boyne Island home since 2023.
